Working in Cafés for 19 years has given us appreciation for the finest qualities in Coffee, so while we lived in Newcastle I came upon a small roaster doing great things with beans, ‘Suspension Espresso’. Their flagship store just around the corner from where we lived, was a hive of activity for the young artist population as well as the business folk. And their Coffee was……. AMAZING!
So when Dave and I had finally found a location we were happy with, there was no argument about who our supplier would be.
After trying out several blends and single origins, I just couldn’t go past ‘Kongi Gold’ from Papua New Guinea, it delivers a thick crema and full bodied taste that could almost be mistaken for sweet.
